By Ben
This is Ben's thanksgiving, read in the classroom:
"I'm grateful for my brother Andrew because he's funny, cool, and hyper. I'm also thankful for my friend Dylan and my friend Joe, they are both good companions. Dylan is a good secret keeper and Joe helps me with everything. I'm grateful for my rats that I can come home to and pet."
Ben's mother: What do you mean by "hyper"?
Ben: I mean active. I mean he gets out and about, runs around. He played tag with me when I was five. He would even do it now, unlike you lazy bones.

Yes Ben thanks for the reminder: I am thankful too for being able to pet my animals. I have a shepherd mutt and an indoor cat.
To Ben's mom: very good to clarify what he meant by hyper. Kids don't think being hyper is such a bad thing!
